ABOUT US
OUR STORY
Wood4Good is non profit organisation that aims to up-skill underprivileged men and women by teaching them to make handmade craftworks and providing them with employment. In India 4.4% of the labour force is unemployed while 60% of the country's population lives below the poverty line. Reducing unemployment and raising living standards is our main aim.All our products are made from wood that is collected as waste from a laminate factory, which is then cleaned and purified to make the products. We also use recycled paper to make some of our products. All the revenue earned by the sale of our products is mostly given to the workers as wages for their efforts while a small proportion of it is used to keep the organisation running.

OUR MISSION
Our mission at Wood4Good is to up-skill underprivileged and unemployed workers by teaching them a new skill, that is crafting and providing them with employment. Since we are a non-profit organisation, most of our revenue is distributed among our workers as wages. These wages help the workers to raise their quality of life and improve their living standards while working at Wood4Good gives them a change to learn a new skill.
